- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Experience in Hospitality is a must and/or Wellness industries.
- Excellent English skills.
- Leadership skills and details oriented.
? To plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations.
? To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.
? To continually monitor the responsible use of energy in the hotel, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.
? To manage the department, in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
? Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritised and are dealt with in an efficient manner, by technically proficient and guest-friendly technicians
? He/she ideally should be certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
? Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
? Advise other colleagues on Health & Safety rules and processes.
